There All Along
Lives inside
breath inseparable
from breath.
Woke to rattling
sky then hail
on the roof.
Exquisite
knowledge
without content
fragrant,
inexhaustible,
a taste,
complete, all
I ever wanted; child
of nothing but
its own
heartbeat.
